How would you like it put on the front page of the local newspaper that you had breast cancer? What if it appeared on the front page and you didn't have breast cancer? This correction appeared in our award-winning Paris News: "Chisum Elementary School fourth grade teacher Cheryl Roddy is not suffering from breast cancer as stated in a cutline in the Friday, Oct. 30, edition of The Paris News . . . The Paris News regrets the error." Besides proofreaders, the newspaper could use a few reporters.
Another Paris News funny: In an article about the Challenge Day held in PISD schools, Mary Madewell said, "Students freely shared intermost feelings during afternoon sessions." Wonder if there were any innernational students there?
