Make up your own mind.

United Methodists are trying to avoid a split over homosexuality. Some of the pastors are proposing "A Way Forward" -- that "churches and regional bodies [be given] the option to make up their own minds on such issues as affirming gay clergy and same sex marriage."

Does that mean that it doesn't matter what God said? Do we get to make up our own minds on adultery? How about incest? How about whether God really knows more than we do, or is He just an archaic being who doesn't understand how enlightened we've become? If you ask me, which they didn't, it sounds much more like "A Way to Hell" than "A Way Forward."
