Poetic Justice

Bobby Lee Pearson lucked out on a technicality. Though most of them judged him guilty, the jury in his trial for burglary filled out the "Not guilty" form in error. The judge had no choice but to turn him loose.

Upon his release, Pearson high-tailed it to his sister's house to get his personal possessions. Pearson, who had a long criminal record, got into a fight with his sister's boyfriend. The boyfriend killed him and left his body in the street.

Sometimes, things just work themselves out.
