I am so proud of the Baptist General Convention of Texas. The organization of Texas Southern Baptist Churches severed its relationship with Royal Lane Baptist Church because of Royal Lane's ordination of homosexuals as deacons. Finally a move that is not motivated by political correctness, but by biblical truth!
Barbara Wiskow disagrees with me. She says that a church is where Jesus stands with arms open for all human beings. Yes, His arms are open to all who come to Him in REPENTANCE! He never said, "Come on in folks, because in my church, anything goes." She says the BGCT doesn't believe that Jesus is big enough to encompass us all. Of course it does! It just doesn't believe that the church should be promoting what God has deemed an abomination.
