We could learn a bit from the Brits!

Starting in September, the spouse of a citizen who is coming from outside the European Union and wants to live in Britain will have to prove a basic command of English. The Home Secretary said that the new provision would promote integration, remove cultural barriers, and protect public services. Sounds pretty common sense to me. The U.S. should follow suit swiftly.
