So what?

There was a recent study lamenting how folks on food stamps can't afford fruits and vegetables. Well, it's a little hard for us folks not on food stamps, too!

Anyway, this study said that buying fresh fruits and vegetables will eat up 43% to 70% of a low-income family's food budget. So what? It eats up my food budget, too!

I guess the only difference I see is that at the checkout, my cart usually isn't filled with soft drinks, frozen dinners, and junk food. My money was spent on fruits and vegetables and other nutritious things those poor people can't afford.
